Service Description

Guided horse trek suitable for all riding abilities. However, rider needs to be comfortable with being in the saddle for long periods of time. *2 days & 1 night *Minimum of two riders. *Natural Hot pools for a dip. *Accommodation at Scotties Hut (DOC Hut) or Glamping Tent. *Lunch, dinner & breakfast included DAY ONE - 9am depart St James Homestead and begin your adventure riding through the open country, mountains and streams making your way through the breath taking Edwards Valley to Cow Stream Natural Hot Pools. Enjoy lunch before soaking in the hot pools which are nestled amongst the mountains. Sit back and enjoy premium comfort glamping style amongst the high country natural beauty. Dinner can be enjoyed under a most spectacular canopy of stars before nestling in for a good nights sleep. DAY TWO - 8am woken with a hearty cooked breakfast and then pack up camp. Our journey back to St James Homestead via Peter's Pass you are able to appreciate the natural peace and solitude of exploring such a magnificent piece of paradise. Riders arriving back at around midday. ​ $860 per rider

Start on Jacks Pass road with the bus stop on your left beside Hanmer Springs Hot Pools and the Vintage Restaurant on your right. Drive 800 metres and then turn right on to the Clarence Valley Road via Jacks Pass towards Hanmer Springs Ski Area. Pukatea Trails is located at the St James Homestead carpark.
